WHO WE ARE

Our Mission

Boone County Right to Life, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization whose members are united by a common concern for the sanctity of human life. We affirm and undertake to protect the right to life of all human beings, including but not limited to: the unborn from the moment of fertilization, the mentally ill or mentally challenged, the “unwanted,” the physically handicapped, the aged, and the incurably ill. Boone County Right to Life, Inc. will undertake to uphold the sanctity of human life through educational activities, legislative advocacy, and charitable activities in an effort tomove our culture back to a respect for human life.

Our History

In response to the Roe vs. Wade decision, a group of concerned people from Lebanon and Zionsville began working to organize a Right to Life organization.
Boone County Right to Life was incorporated in December of 1978 as a not-for-profit organization. Since that time we have been educating the public about pro-life issues. Some of the ways we have done this is through a booth at the Boone County 4-H Fair, booths at various county festivals, participation in parades, through our Newsletter, speakers at banquets and having a billboard posted on I-65.
For over 40 years we have been keeping the Right to Life message before the public. With your help we can maintain and expand our outreach. With your help we can continue to promote a pro-life culture and a respect for the inalienable right to life.
